Cheaper than the 2000 series, almost as nice
I use my 21xx shoes for running and these for general stomping around and walking. They've held up well and fit the mechanics of my stride.

Got these to start running again. I'm not a hardcore runner. They are very light. Comfortable for walking and running. Good starter, entry level shoe.

Asics Comfort & Performance
Like most Asics running shoes, these Trabucos don't disapoint. The gel platform in the sole, does a great job absorbing the shocks of everyday asphalt and trail running. Great grip and flexability on rain slick rocks, muddy hills, and the usual rugged encounters one finds off the beaten path. Mesh top for breathability and comfort in warm weather. Dark colors of the Trabuco won't show dirt easily, a plus.

asics sneakers, indeed "ultimate"
Great model from one of the best asics lines out there. The colors are strong and cool, if we were in the ninetees I would just put it in one word "fresh" For the people that know sneakers and know what they want, this is it. The same sneaker you will probably see on the racs in trendy shoe stores in NYC

Coolio
I got the womens Onitsuka Tiger's in NAVY BLUE/BERRY. I cant really say anything bad about 'em. Good quality and they have this awesome, retro look to them. I dont know about the other colors but I personally think the navy blue/berry is the best looking one.

Questions & Answers
Question : Does it matter if I buy men's or women's Nike running shoes?
I want to get Nike + shoes (the ones you use with the iPod connector/sensor) for Christmas, but it seems that I like a lot of the colors in the men's section rather than women's.
If I'm buying, let's say, Zoom Jasaris, what's the difference between the men's & women's?? Aside from the size/color? Is the shape/fit/comfort exactly the same?
Answer:
You really need to try them on first.
The fit will be very different. A men's D (standard) width is NOT the same as a women's.
And I know you really might want the Nike product for the iPod functionality, but most runners would agree that Nike makes fairly dismal running shoes.
Go to a running shoe store, and let them measure you and watch you run. Base your decision on your feet.

Question : What are some good running shoes for men?
I need some good running shoes that are durable on any terrain and are comfy.
I'm not going to use them very often, perhaps 3 times a week.
Any ideas for good shoes.
All answers are appreciated
Answer:
The best answer to this totally depends on your running gait. You need to know if you pronate, underpronate/suppinate or are a neutral runner before buying shoes. If you don't know go to a running store and ask them to analyse your tread - the good shops will have a machine to do this and will not charge you. Listen to advice from a shop assistant who runs and is trained in the shoe models (not a weekend fill-in!). Visit somewhere like www.runnersworld.co.uk and read reviews on shoes that meet your needs. Try a few pairs on to see how they fit around your toes and heel before buying any. Taking this well-researched path will reduce any chance of injury to your legs/hips/back by running in the wrong shoes. Best of luck!

Question : What are the best reasonably priced running shoes?
Would like to purchase a good pair of men's running shoes that are shock resistant but are reasonably priced and of good quality.
Answer:
More and more superstores/grocery stores [Wal*Mart...depending where you live - Meijers] are starting to sell namebrand clothing and shoe brands. You could try that. Or there's always eBay. I know that they have online stores connected to eBay that sell running shoes wholesale - brand new for really cheap. Those are a few options. :) Good luck!

Question : Which is the most cushioned men's nike running shoe on the market?

Question : What is the best brand of running shoes for men with flat feet and are moderate to severely overpronate?
I am 6'1" tall and weigh 179 lbs. Also, I would prefer to stick with Nike running shoes, but am open to suggestions.
Answer:
There's lot's of shoes for you to try:
Asics - Gel Evolution 3
New Balance - 1010
Asics - Gel MC Plus
Brooks - Beast 9
Saucony - Progrid Stabil
Mizuno - Wave Renegade 3
Go to a store and see which works best for you. You should be looking for a motion control plus shoe.
Nike doesn't make any motion control "plus" shoes which is what you need because of your weight. If you insist on Nike the Air Cesium and Air Cesium 2 might work.

Question : Does anyone know of a brand of running shoes (jogging/training shoes) for men that is all black in color?
I know that there are black walking shoes, but they really are NOT as comfortable (not as much cushion) as jogging shoes. I work in an office where everyone wears a shirt and tie and bright colored jogging shoes won't work.
Answer:
Black Nike Shox. Pricey, but well worth it.

Question : Does anyone know where I can find the "Saucony Shadow 9" men's running shoe online?
I had found it online for something like $60-$70, but can't seem to find it anywhere now. Any suggestions as to any websites where I could purchase them? They don't make the "Shadow 9" anymore, but they are a shoe that I had grown used to during my training and marathons. Thanks in advance.

Question : What are the best men's long distance running shoes?
Please answer only if you have experience in this matter.
A couple summers ago I was running 10 to 20 miles 3 times a week. By the end of the summer my left hip bothered me and I quit running. I'd like to get back into it. I started off with Asics Gel Nimbus; however, the shoes I currently own are Nike Air Equalons, but they seem kind of bulky to me. I'd like to try and prevent injuries and I think finding the right shoe is the best place to start. Any ideas on the best long distance running shoes...or how to pick out the right ones for me, would be greatly appreciated. Any price range...I'm willing to pay more for the right shoes.
Answer:
you should have someone look at your form, footstrike etc... before choosing a shoe. go to your local running store.
